Meet your next teacher
Hi! My name is Magdalena Brandys and I always knew I was going to teach foreign languages. As a certified ESL teacher, I can proudly welcome you to estudiocontext. It is the fruit of over 10 years of travelling, meeting new people and teaching all around the world. It is also my passion project I strived for throughout my whole career.
I love getting to know new people and their stories. I believe that we widen our horizons together and mutually learn something new every day. I am also a highly empathetic person and this is one of the core fundaments at estudiocontext too. Our mission is to always adjust to each student and create a safe environment for them. Everybody should have a good time while learning!
Privately, I am a huge travel enthusiast, of course. In my free time, I craft macrame. I am also a foodie and cakes are totally my thing – both eating and baking them!
10 years of teaching experience
I hold a BA in English and Spanish Philology from Wrocław, Poland where I started my professional teaching career. I also finished my Postgrad Diploma in Specialised Translation and Interpreting there. I took part in an Erasmus exchange in Spain and I completely fell in love with the country. To understand Spanish people and culture better I did an MA in Teaching English and Spanish as a Foreign Language in Alicante. To challenge myself even further, I moved on to live in many different places including Madrid, Sydney and Paris.
I have been an English teacher in Australia, Poland and Spain. I worked as a translator in the Czech Republic and also lived in UK & France.
I had the pleasure to teach people from all around the world, including South Korea, Cambodia, Japan, Colombia, Nepal, Palestine, Brazil, Mexico.
I gave classes for companies such as Santander Bank, 3M, Qatar Airways, Deloitte, Repsol, BBVA, El Corte Ingles, ASISA.
Many memorable classes and anecdotes but besides all, fantastic learners that have changed their lives by improving their English level.
